2025 Descendants of Barnard McQuade & Rachel Brooke Family Reunion
This page is to inform everyone of all the information available for the 2025 reunion.
Our reunion is set for Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at RiverWinds in West Deptford, NJ.
As we go through our planning stages, more will be available. Please see below for volunteer opportunities as we are looking for help in a few areas. Consider asking family members who are not descendants if they'd like to help so that as many of us as possible can enjoy the event. If you feel inclined to donate, you may do that here.
Volunteer help for the 2025 reunion
Videographers (seeking ideally 2)
We're seeking someone who has experience with video recording and live streaming. If you or someone in the family you know has experience with this and may be interested in helping, please let us know in whichever way is most convenient. Ideally, we'd like two individuals, we do not want someone stuck behind the camera all day long and not have a chance to enjoy the reunion themselves. If you don't feel you have the skills to do this, but feel you could help with this, let us know, as you may be the 2nd person to give our Videographer a break and/or a chance to enjoy the event.
Presentation Team
We're seeking an unspecified number of volunteers to help with presentations on the day of the event. This team will be led by Brian McQuade and anyone that is interested in putting together a 15 to 20 minute presentation on a particular branch or topic of the family tree should reach out via email or phone to Brian.
Correspondence/Welcome Team
We're seeking an unspecified number of volunteers to help welcome family members to the event on the day of the reunion and hand out name tags and a copy of the days events. This team will also be responsible for sending any mailings by postal service, if needed, prior to the reunion.
Setup Team
We're seeking an unspecified number of volunteers to help decorate and set up the reunion area with items needed for the event. This team will also help break down and pack up at the end of the day.
Children's Activities Team
We're seeking an unspecified number of volunteers to help with children's activities. This will entail one to three planned activities and any number of unplanned activities to help the children have a great day with their extended family. We're hoping to have an outdoor area for play in addition to possible indoor activities. Ideally there are a few mothers and fathers around who wouldn't mind taking this task on - the more volunteers we have, the more chance your fellow volunteers have to enjoy other portions of the reunion.
